Great restaurant to have traditional Belgian cuisine. The Flemish stew was very delicious, with great balanced flavours. The combination of the apple puree goes very well. We absolutely loved their crème brulée, in my opinion one of the best. The staff was very friendly as well, they made us feel welcomed. The décor of the restaurant is very quaint as well. Highly recommended.

As good as it gets when it comes to Belgian cuisine. During my brief time in Bruges, I spent the first night at this restaurant. Not only were the dishes unique, they were made to perfection. Puff pastry flaky and crisp, mussels tender and flavorful, chocolate sauce rich and decadent. If you are staying at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh, it’s right across the street for utmost convenience. Overall, delicious food, a wonderful selection of traditional Belgian beer, and a delightful environment with great service. Pictured is their mussels and profiteroles.

Famous spot where scenes from In Buges movie were filmed. Great food and service. Open late (until midnight). Can get busy, recommend a reservation especially if you party is more than 2.

This is a MUST for dinner in Bruges! The history of this restaurant is wonderful to read about inside the menu and that there was a scene filmed here in the movie “In Bruges” starring Colin Farrell. The mussels by far were the BEST we have had in Belgium. The “Thai Chili” is the way to go if you like a bit of spicy, but the curry sauce they are cooked in are out of this world. The Linguine Bolognese was amazing!! Very different from your traditional Italian Bolognese, but it is a must try! If you are in the mood for fish - the Salmon is fantastic! The bonus is that you do receive bottomless fries here with your entrees. Do not miss out! The beer and other drink selection is fantastic! You better stop in here for one of your best meals in Belgium. Cheers!!

We ordered several dish and all come out quite well. The portions are also quite big. The beef stew, the sauce taste quite well but I feel that the beef is quite dry. The salmon taste just great. You can just ordered how you would like it to be cooked. The salmon with asparagus is delicious especially it’s the season for it. We like it quite a lot. My husband loves the chicken with mushroom sauce. I can’t recall the name of the dish. He said it taste well and all are good combination on the plate. Mussels are fresh so you can get the sweet taste from mussels itself. The staffs are friendly and assist us very well. This is also a selling point of this restaurant. Overall, our experiences are very well for this restaurant.

Exactly what we wanted when we decided we wanted “belgian food” Their StoofVlees was right on point Wine selection was good and fairly priced Starters might have been sligtly “pricey” however the main courses make absolutely up for it. Friendly service, not pushy We had a super nice dinner and would recommend it

Atmosphere. Typicality. Level of service. Flavour at its finest. You name it: they’ve nailed it. La Diligence is the warmth of a true Belgian tavern, dishing out quality with quiet elegance. The fries? A tad over-fried. But the rest? The best meal I had in an entire week family trip around Belgium.
